Why is it so hard to be you? Have you ever asked yourself this question? We always wonder - why I can’t do this or I’m not as smart as my colleague. Or thank god I’m so much luckier than that homeless guy on the street. We always compare. Our brain would not give us a break, no mater how hard we try. However it never stops and says, hey how about you just try be YOU.
The way you are. Without being shy, or ashamed of being shy. Or being the loud and happy outgoing personality you are instead of trying to quiet yourself down to fit in. Or the one who just loves working and doesn’t need anyone giving them hard time about spending too much time in front of the computer. Or the one who is so passionate about her new project that she can’t stop thinking about it although the whole idea might sound unrealistic. We thought the world was ours when we were three. Now we think it’s someone else’s and we need to be a certain way to fit in it.
We thought the world was ours when we were three.
Now we think it’s someone else’s and we need to be a certain way to fit in it.
The secret is, the world needs us the way we are. The unique us. The world is still ours, we just were made to believe otherwise. There is a way to change that, I know there is. We just have to work on our own thinking. Hopefully my 30-day mind reset concept is a step in the right direction. I practiced it, I’ve gone through this experience and based on it created something which I hope can bring that sparkle back into your life.
We just have to try. Every time when it doesn’t work out we just have to keep at it. I believe that. I believe it’s part of the journey, and each of our journeys is unique on it’s own. And each is beautiful.
